On September 18 2006, a Solider with B Company, 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment (TF 1/6 INF) attached to 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division is relaying the squads current position to higher after a sniper engaged  during Operation Bunker Hill. The purpose of Operation Bunker Hill is locating possible insurgent to reduce the murder and intimidation of local citizens and reduce attacks on coalition forces by patrols and questioning the local populace in Jezirah, Iraq. 1/6 INF is currently deployed with I MEF (FWD) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq (MNF-W) to develop the Iraqi Security Forces, Facilitate the development of Official rule of law through democratic government reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.

July 14th 2006:  Iraqi Police Officers stands security  outside Combat Operation Post Hawk perimeter at an Entry Control Point near Ramadi General Hospital community  . The Iraqi Police Force serves with IMEF (FWD) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq (MNF-W) to develop the Iraqi Security Forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic government reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi Reconstruction.

On 23 November 2006, Staff Officers of 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Forward conversate as they wait for the arrival of Secretary of the Navy the Honorable Donald Winter on Marine Corps Airbase Al Asad, Iraq. 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Forward is deployed with First Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward)  in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq (Multi National Forces- West) to develop the Iraqi Security Forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic government reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.

On September 18 2006, a scout observer Marine Corporal Carlos A. Perez from Dallas, Tx of 1st Supporting Arms Liason Team (1st ANGLICO) working with B Company, 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment (TF 1/6 INF) attached to 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division post rear security while the rest of his squad cross an irrigation canal to pursue an fleeing insurgents that previous engaged the squad with sniper fire during Operation Bunker Hill. On September 27, 2006, an infantryman with Alpha Company, 2nd Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment (2/6 INF) attached to Task Force 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment (TF 1/6(INF)) assigned to 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division (1BDE,1AD) stands local security during a patrol's security halt during Operation Yorktown. The purpose of Operation Yorktown is to clear AIF from OBJ Cornwallis IOT deny AIF safe haven by conducting cordon and searches of the local populace. 2/6 INF is currently deployed with IMEF (FWD) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq (MNF-W) to develop the Iraqi Security Forces, Facilitate the development of Official rule of law through democratic government reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.

On 5 December, 2006, Corporal Trenton E. Harris a combat cameraman  from St. Louis, MO of Marine Wing Headquarter Squadron 3 (MWHS-3) documents the Marines of Marine Wing Support Squadron 273 (MWSS-273) convoy to the Haditha Dam in the Al Anbar  to recover a downed CH-46E Sea Knight. 3D MAW is currently deployed with I MEF (FWD)  in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq (MNF-W) to develop the Iraqi security forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic government reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
